[Reflection] Minjoon Cho - Being Inspired to Inspire
Updated: Aug 26, 2025
As a new member of our club, I’ve jumped in by helping brainstorm ways to support the kids at the Life-Giving Tree Organization. One of our main projects has been raising funds through food sales, with all the profits going towards buying Arduino kits for the kids. These kits introduced them to basic tech skills, sparking curiosity and giving them a fun, hands-on way to learn. Through this experience, I learned something valuable: while not everyone may step up to help, there are always people who believe in the cause and are willing to pitch in.
We know that our club’s actions alone won’t solve all the challenges these kids face, but we believe even small contributions can make a real difference in their lives. Whether it’s giving them a moment of joy, new learning opportunities, or simply showing them that people care, our efforts aim to bring positive change. The smiles on their faces remind us that every little bit we do is worth it.

We hope that these small acts of kindness will stick with the kids as they grow. Maybe one day, they’ll be inspired to help others, keeping this cycle of compassion going. Our goal is not just to provide immediate support but to plant seeds of kindness and empathy that could last a lifetime. Being part of this club has shown me the power of community and the lasting impact that even small acts of kindness can have, strengthening my commitment to this meaningful work.
