Green Robot Cup Competition 🏆🤖!!!
A big robotics competition happened at the Winter Robotics & Coding Camp. Each team had 3-4 kids, along with a teacher to guide them as they build and code their own robots. The competition featured a series of challenges that test each team’s creativity and technical skills. Tasks included programming their robots to follow a line path and moving objects to specific spots on a map.
To keep things interesting, we scored each team based on how well they completed the missions, with points awarded for precision, speed, and teamwork. At the end of the competition, we handed out awards based on their unique strengths. Every team took home a prize, but each was recognized in a different category like “Creativity Award,” “Most Points Earned,” or “Best Teamwork,”adding an extra layer of excitement.
Beyond the friendly competition, this event was all about helping the kids build problem-solving skills and confidence as they work together. They got hands-on experience tackling real-world challenges, which will boost their coding and robotics skills and, we hope, spark a lasting interest in engineering.
By mixing in a fun, competitive vibe, we hoped to inspire the kids to push their limits and explore new ideas. The awards ceremony was a celebration of their hard work, and we hope it has motivated them to keep learning. This competition is just the start, and we can’t wait to see the impact it has on the children in the years ahead.
